A must try! Chill vibes and great food! Their ranch is incredible and the Mac n cheese is delicious and creamy! The mama lil peppers give it the perfect flavor that elevates the dish. Great local gluten free options! As a person with celiac, I feel comfortable eating here as the owners have family members that have celiac and severe intolerance

Amazing drinks, amazing food, a cozy atmosphere, and the most lovely people running it! We had the most delicious chicken fried steak, and couldn't believe the chocolate mousse was vegan.

Chris and Eric, two of the mixologists are true artists who have a passion for what they do. Chris made me their standard hot toddy which was well thought out and delicious. Chris, Eric and I then discussed ways to spice it up a little with their big collection of bitters, and Chris concocted another delicious, more interesting toddy. For next time, I'd like to stop by and have them make me something hot and spicy. Fun!

You better come to this place hungry and ready to go back home in a Uber, lol. Their food is incredible good and their drinks are fantastic. They are always willing to create whatever you are in the mood for, in fact, when you ask for them to create something for you, you can see their passion at work. Such a pleasure to see so much professionalism and creativity in the same environment. My husband and I LOVE this place!

Been here multiple times now and Sandy Underground is the real deal. No fake trendy nonsense. Just a solid underground bar with good people, good drinks, and great food. Chris is a cool bartender and keeps the atmosphere relaxed, and Yvonne does not miss in the kitchen. Food is always fire 🔥 This is the kind of place you want after a long week instead of those loud overcrowded bars where nobody can even hear each other talk.

This is one of the best restaurants that I’ve been to in quite some time and my husband and I have been there a few times now. The atmosphere is similar to a speakeasy. It is the downstairs portion of the old VFW in Sandy. It is on the smaller side so you might have a wait depending on what time you show up. The drinks are delicious and the food is literally amazing. Everything is handmade and fresh. If I could recommend my favorite dish- it would be the rigatoni pesto/peppercorn, the Brussel sprouts, the Parmesan garlic fries will burn your mouth it’s so fresh, and both types of gravy fries are to die for. Oh, and the broccoli cheddar soup! Everything is good- you’ll want to go back for more! It’s a 21+ bar/restaurant. Go on a date night. Or just stop in on your way through town.

Food, drinks and dessert were not only unique, but also flavorful and delicious. Presentation is on point! As a Mom, my favorite part is 21+ over!! It's challenging to find a good bar with decent food. This is NOT your typical bar food. We spent about $100 for 4 alcoholic beverages (yummy and strong), 2 entrees, a salad entree that was absolutely amazing, and 2 desserts. I really loved the grilled cheese sandwich and came home with the other half...everything was very filling. The dessert was by far the best I have ever experienced. Their donuts are so crazy good. Another time I went in with friends and we sat at the bar. We had a really great time chatting with everyone and watching the owners do their thing. They mix drinks with such fun! One of their drinks comes with a cherry and it had to be the best cherry I have ever had in my life. I typically don't care for the Maraschino cherries but what they used was a different product that had me weak in the knees. Drinks are very strong, and I very much appreciate that. The ambience is very unique for Sandy. It is Underground which is super cool. It is dark and romantic. I did not feel like I was in Sandy. Way to go Underground Staff!!! We will be returning. Sandy Peeps, let's keep this place prosperous. Owners - get your business on Yelp and I will post there also.

Top notch beverages and food!! Nice selection of beer and hand crafted cocktails. We had the chicken fried steak, Mac & cheese, brussel sprouts, and crispy chicken sandwich-all fresh & made in house. We went for both the chocolate pot de créme & sour creme donut bites...and left very happy and full. The atmosphere is cozy, clean and has speakeasy vibes. The owners Chris & Yvonne- who also run the bar & kitchen have poured their hearts into this place, giving Sandy a much needed haven with thoughtfully crafted offerings. We will definitely be back ☺️

100/10. We’ve visited Sandy Underground twice now and can’t wait to go back again. This place rocks a killer food menu and cocktail program that will leave you wanting for more! The mixologists and chefs are truly talented and super kind. It has a speak easy vibe about it, but everyone inside is so welcoming and friendly. Favorites from our visits include their fried chicken sandwich, the chicken fried steak, and their beet and burrata salad. And of course for dessert, the crustless-cheesecake! Everything is perfectly cooked and balanced, and the bartenders are ready to dazzle you with drinks on and off the menu (see the incredible Pimm’s cup Chris created in the photos!). They also pride themselves on the gluten-free aspect of their menu. And did I mention how generous their portions are?! It’s seriously the best food, mixed drinks, and vibe we’ve experienced to date in Sandy. Thank you so much Aaron, Chris, and Yvonne! We can’t wait to come back.

We stopped at Sandy Underground on our way back from the mountain, not knowing what to expect, and wow! What an incredible surprise. I had the crispy chipotle chicken sandwich, and my husband ordered the burger. Everything was absolutely delicious. This isn’t just “another sandwich” the flavors were bold, authentic, and perfectly balanced. You can tell there’s real thought behind the menu. The drink selection is impressive. My husband enjoyed one of their drinks, and even though I kept it simple with sparkling water and soda, you can tell they take their bar seriously. We sat at the bar and had the chance to interact with a couple of the bartenders, such a great energy. Calm, welcoming, friendly. We felt at home. The service was outstanding, and that almost feels like an understatement. Every person working there was attentive, kind, and genuine. Parking was easy, and the overall vibe was just beautiful. Honestly, I would drive from Hillsboro just to have that crispy chipotle chicken sandwich again and spend time there. Highly, highly recommend!
